- ACCESS AND PARKING
- As the conference is taking place during our academic term, parking on campus is extremely limited. We strongly advise ALL delegates to use an e-hailing service (we recommend Uber) to get to and from the conference each day. Please enter Wits Theatre as your destination and ask your Uber to drop you off at the Wits Theatre entrance on Station Street. You will see our PSi team there waiting for you at the pedestrians’ entrance. Should you require parking, please sign in as a visitor on the Empire Road entrance and use available visitors parking. Please note that this parking may be a considerable walking distance from the Wits Theatre and you may take time to get to conference venue on foot, which is why we recommend e-hailing services as a more convenient option.
- On the first day, we ask that you bring along your registration ticket from Quicket as a means of identification to access the campus. We will then provide name tags which will allow you to gain access every morning during the conference. Please keep these name tags with you at all times so as to allow you to access all conference venues.
- We will always meet at the Wits Theatre for registration and travel from campus to our partner sites on a shuttle. Please ensure that you arrive on campus timeously so that we can travel as a group. Once we return to campus at the end of the conference day, your e-hail service can pick you up from the Station Street entrance again.
- CATERING AND BAR SERVICES
- If you are attending the conference in-person, we will include lunch and a light dinner on most days of the conference (as per the programme). Please fill in the delegate information form so that we can accommodate any dietary requirements.
- Breakfast is not catered for by the conference. Please ensure that you have breakfast before attending registration.
- We will provide tea and coffee, but bar services and additional soft drinks and snacks are available for purchase at most conference venues.
