The Performance in Historical Paradigms Working Group provides a dynamic forum for the discussion of performance studies methodologies for those who engage with multiple (inter)disciplinary paradigms and use performance theory to think historically, or think historically about performance.
This year, we will host a series of events to explore and discuss the praxis of our field, including a roundtable, a panel, a performance, and a meeting session. We invite conference attendees to join us for a session where we engage with the themes of the working group in relation to our research, teaching, and practice. We plan to organise the session around participants’ interests and envisage it as an opportunity to network, share ideas and reflect on why and how we work with performance and history.
