We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Enrichment Bursary for the recent PSi conference was Alexandra Talamo, an artist, researcher, and queer art-activist.

The Enrichment Bursary aimed to support new and unaffiliated artists, scholars, and activists, particularly those from underrepresented groups, by covering the costs of attending the annual PSi conference in person, including accommodation and registration fees. This award enabled recipients to contribute meaningfully to the conference while fostering inclusivity within the performance studies community.

In her application, Alexandra articulated her commitment to exploring inherited memory through queer choreographic practices. Her PhD research examined how Indigenous and second-generation migrant performance practices respond to Australian settler-colonialism and how performance can articulate theoretical frameworks of traumatic inherited memory.

We congratulated Alexandra Talamo on receiving this well-deserved Enrichment Bursary and appreciated her contributions to the PSi conference!
