About the Event

Collaborative Session

The ARWG invites our members to meet, engage, reframe and rearticulate one another’s preoccupations. Each participant is invited to offer a current interest they are exploring through their Artistic Research practice. These will then be ‘swapped,’ with each participant taking on another participant’s offering to be reframed and rearticulated through their own mode(s) of practice.

Organizers

For the past 15 years the Artistic Research Working Group has welcomed all artists and artist-scholars to gather and share their preoccupations, passions, questions, challenges, ideas, and—in particular—practices. Through processes such as the “Porous Studio” and “Perform, Respond, and Extend,” the ARWG community commingles, collaborates, and contaminates through embodied exchange and mutual inspiration.
