In conjunction with PSi’s constellations, the Future Advisory Board (FAB) is hosting a three-phase intervention series about precarity for emerging academics in 2025.

April 2025: Collective writing. In a series of live local events, a complaint is being raised and recorded by early academics throughout the globe. FAB will offer a playbook for local groups.

June 2025: Assemblage of the manifesto. Through (a)synchronous online events, the participants are invited to reflect and assemble their experiences in the form of a manifesto.

December 2025: Performing the manifesto. In a hybrid version, FAB and invited participants will perform the manifesto, along with a futuring workshop with local artists from Brazil during the PSi annual conference.

The PSi Future Advisory Board (FAB) is a collective body of international emerging and early-career performance studies scholars, artists, and artist-scholars who bring together perspectives, strategies, tactics, provocations, ideas, visions, hopes, and dreams from their various practices of theory and performance.
